About

6 weeks in 6 games, with one prototype chosen to be developed into a polished game.  This is the Rapid Mobile Game Experiment. This blog showcases our work at the University of Indiana-Bloomington, the Graduate Department of Telecommunications, in T575, Spring, 2011.

Safari and the Gamesalad Plugin are required to play games.

During the first 6 weeks of the spring semester, we each developed one game per week based on the following themes:

Week 1: Freedom
Week 2: Space
Week 3: Time
Week 4: Growth
Week 5: Destruction
Week 6: Hidden

For the rest of the semester we will each choose one of these prototypes to develop into a final, polished game.  Join us as we finish up the semester and please let us know what you think!

Thanks,
Dan, Brendan, Sophie & Jenna

How are these games made?
The majority of these games were created with a game authoring tool called GameSalad.  We chose this engine because it allows non-programmers to rapidly create games with a visual editor and logic system.  We encourage other game designers to check it out at gamesalad.com !
